Datomic releases after May 30th, 2026 will no longer support running on Java 11.
What does this mean for you?
If you are using Java 11 you should plan to upgrade to one of the LTS versions of Java that are supported by Datomic Pro ( Java 17, Java 21).
You will need to update both Transactors and Peers running java 11.
What if I don’t want to?
You can continue to use any version of Datomic released prior to May 30th, 2026 on Java 11. However, Datomic Support reserves the right to ask you to upgrade as part of troubleshooting any problems you may encounter.
